Peter Jensen
Peter is a Danish designer and building consultant with over 20 years of experience in natural building. He has traveled the world, leading various humanitarian projects and constructing sustainable homes, schools, and community buildings.
In 2019, Peter built the first EcoCocon house in the U.S. and has since partnered with EcoCocon to expand its presence. His passion is to establish numerous successful EcoCocon straw panel projects across the country and pave the way for the first EcoCocon production line in the U.S.
Beyond building EcoCocon homes, Peter is deeply passionate about working with regenerative farmers. He is committed to demonstrating how we can build and farm more consciously—showing that it's possible to heal our soil, produce truly organic food, and create healthy homes for both people and the planet.

Jenna Yu: Lead designer
With over a decade of experience, principal designer Jenna Yu specializes in sustainable architectural design, focusing on bio-based materials like straw, clay, and wood. Her approach prioritizes energy-efficient, healthy interiors that also store carbon to combat climate change.
Jenna is an expert in panelized straw construction, providing design and permitting services for residential and accessory projects nationwide. Her portfolio spans garden cottages, tiny houses, ADUs, garage conversions, additions, single and multi-family homes, art studios, and homesteads.
Based in New England, Jenna collaborates on projects across the East, West, and South coasts. She has successfully navigated permitting processes in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New York, Tennessee, Oregon, and California. Jenna lives and works from a straw house she designed and built in Providence, RI.
